ADSD Cornucopia of Color Collab

Welcome to a Cornucopia of Colors!

The designers at ADSD have once again joined forces to bring you another beautiful collab. This month we have 56 talented designers who have contributed to this collab (you can find the links to all participating designers below) and all the kits are gorgeous as usual.

The theme for this collab was either Harvest or Your State/Country. I decided to showcase the annual apple harvest we have just up the hill from us in the Sierra Nevada’s. The Apple Hill Growers Association originated with just 16 ranches. Today it boasts more than 50 ranches including Christmas tree growers, wineries, a micro-brewery, spa and vineyards.

Most ranches open Labor Day weekend with the “early” apples (Gravenstein, Jonathan, JonaGold, Gala, McIntosh) followed by Red and Golden Delicious in September. Some ranches offer yummy fresh baked goodies (baked usually the same day you eat them) and additional activities for everyone to participate in (crafts, train ride, fishing pond, pumpkins patch, berry picking, wine tasting, cider mills, picnicing, nature walks and more!).

I can’t wait to take the boys up the hill this year. It is so beautiful up there with all the pine trees and the air smells so clean and crisp. Of course, it is always nice to get out of the city once in a while. If you ever have the opportunity to visit and participate in the yearly apple harvest, you can find information by visiting the Apple Hill Growers Association.

Ok, enough with my Apple Hill plug. It’s time to bring you what you came here for. Here is my portion of the collab. From me you’ll receive 10 papers (broken in to 3 downloads) and a set of tasty elements featuring what else, apples.

Have a great week and…

Happy Scrapping!

This is gorgeous! I LOVE the apples! Here on the California coast we used to have a lot of apples, but not as many now. A lot of wineries, though. We even own one ourselves! So I love the IVV kit! Thanks so much for all your generosity!
